How to Remove Adhesive

Adhesive is the general category that describes materials that adhere or bond things together. In other words, it’s anything that sticks to each other. This can range from the sticky substance that’s on the back of a self-stick postage stamp or envelope, to household glue, to the powerful bonding material that affixes those all-important protective panels to the Space Shuttle.

The good thing about adhesive is that it’s sticky and it sticks! That’s also the bad thing . . . if you’re trying to remove adhesive from a surface you don’t want it on, like one of your kid’s stickers or an old bumper sticker or a parking decal from a place you haven’t worked in more than a year, or glue on your antique coffee table. You get the picture.

The good news is that we know how to help you remove adhesive from many different kinds of surfaces without damaging the underlying surface – and we can help you clean off pretty much any kind of household, garage, workshop, and consumer adhesives.

When it comes to the space shuttle, we’re at a bit of a loss, but luckily our customers have never asked us for information on removing that particular adhesive.
